Sunset at Barker's Dam Colorado
My family spent a long weekend in Nederlands, Colorado, in March of 2012. The rest of my family skied during the day, while I photographed the area. I found a location where I wanted to take sunset pictures. As it turned out, I didn't anticipate the hight of the surrounding mountains in my calculations, and the sun hid behind one of them. I hopped in my car and quickly drove towards the dam hoping, that I will reach it before the sunset ends. I had just enough time to hike to this point, set up my tripod, and start shooting the gorgeous skies. I felt very lucky, that I was able to witness and capture such a unique sunset.
